Support Group Meeting

Support group meetings are inclusive spaces which could also act as reference centers where family members and people with psychosocial disability can share and exchange experiences and information to better cope with their situations. Continuing our efforts to create such safe spaces so that people who have faced exclusion or psychosocial disability can share their experiences and learn from others’ as well to better cope with their situations, Identity Inclusion will be holding its meetings every month. There will be a Mental Health Professional present. It’s free, and we will maintain full confidentiality.

Capacity Building

Based on a curriculum developed in partnership with the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, Dhaka University, we provide workshops and training to various individuals and institutions on Psycho-social Support and Communication Skills, Rights of Persons with Mental illnesses and Disabilities, Biopower and Powerplay, and many more. The curriculum/handbook will train its users so that individuals are aware of the problem and are equipped to tackle the stigma in different spheres of their own lives, such as family or workplaces and take initiative to improve the condition.

We also provide consultation services and technical assistance directly to institutions such as schools and organizations by developing programs catered to their needs, to ensure that they are inclusive spaces.
